I first became aware of MASA (aka Miguel Vásquez) a few years ago while thumbing through a copy of "Writing: Urban Calligraphy and Beyond," a book showcasing various handstyles from around the world. His lettering was a standout amongst the rest. I just recently discovered his design/illustration portfolio. Very impressive.
