After an eleven year hiatus, Jason Kidd was to be traded back to the Dallas Mavericks in a blockbuster deal late this afternoon.

Apparently he's activated a "no-trade" clause in his contract. Though the deal will most likely go through, it now has the potential to fall through the cracks. *sigh*

Stackhouse has joined George in collectively shitting all over this deal.



Evidently Stack decided to go on record stating that he wasn't worried about the trade because arrangements had already been made for his return to the Mavs after a league-mandated one month absence. As anyone can surmise, this is in clear violation of NBA rules. So now the league is planning on blocking his return to the Mavs if/when the trade goes down, which means it probably won't. Fucking wonderful.
